Megan Lott, L.Ac
Hi, I’m Megan — Licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, hormone detective, digestion troubleshooter, and pain relief strategist here in beautiful Durango, Colorado. For nearly two decades, I’ve been helping people across the Southwest ditch their pain, balance their hormones, heal their guts, and reclaim their energy using a mix of Chinese Medicine, nutritional therapy, gentle bodywork, and advanced lab testing. My goal? To make you feel better than you thought was possible — and give you the tools to keep it that way.
I earned my Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe in 2007, am board certified by the NCCAOM in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology, and licensed in Colorado. Over the years, I’ve run a women’s health clinic in Santa Fe, served as a supervising physician at a holistic pain management clinic, and built a private practice in Durango with a special love for treating women’s health, fertility, digestion, and chronic pain. I also work with veterans through their insurance benefits — because everyone deserves access to real, lasting care.
Most recently, I traveled to Lake Atitlán in Guatemala to study Maya Abdominal Massage with indigenous Mayan midwives — a powerful, traditional technique for improving pelvic health, digestion, menstrual balance, and fertility. I’m honored to now offer this therapy in my clinic, blending its ancient wisdom with the modern tools I’ve honed over years in practice.
When I’m not helping patients, you can find me rock climbing, reading on my front porch, or wrangling my two dogs (Ruby and Milo) and two daughters. My family has fostered rescue animals for over a decade, so yes, our carpets tell stories. I also volunteer as a DEVO coach — though I’m only officially qualified to ride with the three-year-olds on pushbikes. (They keep me humble.)
