Megan Lott, L.Ac
As a licensed practitioner of Oriental Medicine, I strive to create a nurturing and peaceful space, incorporating ancient Chinese Medicine with bodywork, functional medicine, lab testing, nutritional therapy and guided meditation. Inspired by the healing properties of food, I encourage my patients to take an active role in their healing by equipping them with dietary plans and cooking strategies.
I earned my Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM in 2007. I am board certified by the NCCAOM in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology and am a Licensed Acupuncturist in Colorado. In Santa Fe I ran a small women's health Acupuncture clinic and worked as a supervising physician at Luz De Vida, a holistic pain management clinic in Española. Since moving to Durango in 2011 with my husband and two daughters I have maintained a private practice with an emphasis on the treatment of pain and women's health. I love playing in the mountains and rivers and try to get as much time as possible on my paddleboard in the summer.
